The message bangle measures approximately 4mm wide.
The inspiration for this bangle came from a customer who shared the following story.
I read your beautiful story on Facebook. Now, I want to share a story with y’all. I’m 3rd generation South Florida. Nine years ago, I left the “Promise Land” for the “Land of Wind and Dirt” when I married my sweet husband in northern New Mexico. So....all of this story happened in South Florida.
Years ago, a friend of mine lost her son in an auto accident. She was given a sterling silver bangle bracelet that was inscribed, Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. About a year or so later, our friend Jeri, lost her son Matt in a boating accident on Lake Okeechobee. Tera held Jeri’s hand and slid the bracelet from her arm to Jeri’s. From that point, it was decided that the bracelet was to be worn 24/7 and only passed to Glades County mothers. No one ever dreamed that it would be passed so often. In a few months, my lifelong friend Janice lost Amy in an accident. The bracelet was passed to Janice. Two years later, Janice had to hold “My” hand. I vaguely remember her laying on the couch with me saying, “Let me tell you a story”. My son, my only child was killed in a freak accident on the ranch. He had been 20 for eight days. Rubbing my fingers across the scripture gave me comfort on bad days....which were often. Then came the day that I had to make a trip to Florida to hold my dear friend Patty’s hand. I missed the bracelet so much. Since then, it has been passed several more times. Recently, three more of my friends all lost their sons at one time in an accident. The bracelet was passed to Monique. She is to wear it for a few months, then pass it to Pauline. She will wear it for a few months then give it to Calinda, who hopefully will wear it for a long long time.
There are many many days that I reach for my bracelet so that I can rub my fingers across the scripture. Tara, Jeri, Janice, Patty, Maxine, Macy, have told me the same thing. I’ve searched and searched for another one that I can wear forever. I just simply cannot find one. I’m hoping that you will add one you your line so that me, as well as other mothers, can purchase one. There are many grieving mothers across this country. I believe that it would bring them the peace and comfort that it brought me.
If you decide to make them, realizing that they would be at least $100.00 for a bracelet that doesn’t bend, I will buy 3 of them. Thank you so very much for considering this request. In memory of my son David.

Part of the appeal of handcrafted sterling silver jewelry contains slight variations and irregularities in silversmith work. These variations are not to be considered defects, but rather the silversmiths signature. No two are exactly alike.
