About Diane

My journey to Inspiranza started when I was 9 years old.  I thought I knew Christ; after all, I was required to attend church 6 days a week.  It turns out I didn’t really know him at all until I stepped foot on a bible school bus that parked in the middle of our little Midwestern town and invited all of the town’s children.  It was then that Christ became my friend, not just the man on the cross.  I knew He had big plans for my life, I was just sure of it!

As the years progressed, I started to follow my plan and rarely did I consult God to find out if this was his plan. After giving College a try and finding out that surely was not for me, I found myself working in a law firm.  Often I would think, I must have missed out on God’s big plan.  I prayed that I would see His will and not my own, that my eyes be opened.  It was time to start looking to Him for answers.

Luke 11:9-10 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

I spent 10 years at the firm where I met my best friend and now business partner, Dawn.  I loved jewelry, after all diamonds are a girl’s best friend and that’s something Dawn and I loved to talk about!  We chatted over lunches trying to discover just what way God could use us.  Never dreaming it would be starting a jewelry business.

I have learned that you never know what plans he has for you, just keep listening and it will be revealed.  Dawn came to me with an idea to start having jewelry parties.  I immediately said “I’m in” but after taking the idea home that night, I knew there was more, we needed you to join us as well.

I thank God for the wonderful couple that invested it all in a bible school bus that was nicer than the home they lived in.  Sometimes doing what God has asked us to do is a great sacrifice and we don’t always see the fruit of our labor until many years later when the seed grows and the bloom is revealed.

I have since traded in my Diamonds for CZ’s and wow they are so much more fun!

About Dawn
I've loved jewelry since I was just a little girl and can even remember my first piece, a bracelet containing a single blue bear charm. Like all first jewelry, it was lost during play but the fascination with jewelry that was born in that first piece was not lost.

Looking back I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise that as early as 17, I found myself clerking behind a jewelry counter of a large department store and eventually working to help build a jewelry business where I gained an education of metals and stones and had the opportunity to work in a medium of every girls dreams, fine jewelry. Those two events fit together but what happened next seemed out of place. I left the jewelry business and completed my college degree and eventually went to work at a law firm and wondered why I was on that path. What seemed then crooked now makes perfect sense because that's where I met my friend, Diane.

Our paths might never have crossed if it weren't for our shared love of jewelry and our belief in Christ. At a young age I was introduced to Jesus and became a Christian. What a bold statement that is to share, especially when I didn't always do things that were Christ like. As the years passed, I allowed things in that shouldn't have been there. After trying to run life my way and failing, I turned it all back over to him, asking him to use me in His plans, not my own.

Proverbs 19:21  Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

The miracle is that every piece of my life worked into His plan. He showed me right where He wanted me to go and when it looked as if I were alone, He never left my side.

When God placed the business on my heart, I knew it was what I was supposed to do. I didn't know how I was going to do it but I trusted God to work out the details. I see His hands moving in Inspiranza Designs every day through the lives of those who make up our home office and those who join us as consultants. Doing the things for which you were created is sometimes challenging but always satisfying. I'm working to go where I'm led and that's what inspires me to let it shine.
