Inspiranza Designs Meet Steven Curtis Chapman at the St. Louis United Tour

48 Hours after receiving the Dove Award for Artist of the Year, Inspiranza Designs meet Steven Curtis Chapman. Steven didn’t take time off to celebrate as he jumped back on his bus to continue the United Tour where he and Michael W. Smith perform in concert venues all across America. 

In his first concert after receiving the Songwriter and Artist of the Year Dove Awards for 2009, Steven Curtis Chapman shared the stage with Michael W. Smith and poured out his heartfelt songs to an audience of excited fans. Of the 5,000 fans in attendance, none were quite as excited as the ladies from Inspiranza Designs who were honored with an after concert meet and greet. 

The Founders of Inspiranza Designs, Diane Lawrence and Dawn Pochek, and a handful of employees were thrilled to meet Steven Curtis Chapman and discuss their shared mutual mission of caring for orphans. Inspiranza Designs partnered with Show Hope to provide donations through the sale of their new charm line in an effort to address a child’s need of food, shelter, and care with the ultimate goal of helping set orphaned children in a forever family through adoption. 
 

“We were able to tell him that in the first month release of our Sail Away to Yesterday collection our consultants sold 696 charms and that our goal was to build that number and become more involved to help focus the light on the needs of orphans here in America and all over the world”, said Co-Founder, Dawn Pochek. Steven said he couldn’t wait to share our catalog with his wife, Mary Beth, and Co-founder, Diane Lawrence, said “we want her to look through it and pick anything she might like and give us the opportunity to send her something from Inspiranza”. 

What struck us the most, says Kathy Hamilton, CEO of Inspiranza Designs, “was how genuinely kind he was to our group and that he spent so much time talking about what we do, and how grateful he was that we support the mission that he and Mary Beth started in Show Hope.” It was obvious that he was excited about how it was growing and what they were able to do with the support Show Hope is receiving. It was a special time for Inspiranza Designs to connect with Steven Curtis Chapman and celebrate his mission, and our combined hearts to follow God’s plan for us in our mission to help support orphans and Show Hope to the world.
